CampusKino shows “Activist”

The Innsbruck Nature Festival and Scientists for Future invite you to CampusKino@technik on september 26th at 7:00 p.m. The film “Activist” by Petteri Saario is shown which is about a finish girl that steps up against a mining company that wants to mine in a nature reserve. A podium discussion moderated by Ingo Glatz (coordinator Scientists for Future) will kick of the evening. Speakers are Georg Kaser (glaciologist and IPCC – Lead Autor), Markus Ohndorf (environmental economist) as well as Rainer Pfluger (energy effecient construction). The urgency of immediate action will be shown by Georg Kaser who will also point out the necessary transformation processes. Two crucial key elements will be examinated closely – CO2-tax and lock in effects.
