YOUTH UNSTOPPABLE – DER AUFSTIEG DER GLOBALEN JUGEND-KLIMABEWEGUNG

Canadian Slater Jewell-Kemker is 29 years old today. At 15, she became active against climate change, her camera by her side from the very beginning. And so, over the next 12 years, Jewell-Kemker became a witness behind the scenes of a growing youth movement worldwide. “YOUTH UNSTOPPABLE” tells the story of UN climate conferences, the Paris Climate Agreement and Greta Thunberg. Authentic, challenging, hopeful and often disappointing, what started out as an individual journey has, with “YOUTH UNSTOPPABLE”, become a testament to the global youth movement for the future of our planet.

This film stands out by the extensive commitment the filmmaker had over the 12 years the documentary takes place. We see how the global Youth Climate Movement evolves during the last years and the impact it has on the director herself.
