WHEN THE BULL CRIED

In the Bolivian Andes people live from mining. At the risk of their lives, they reduce silver and other minerals, because the ice-cold, dark mine shafts break down regularly and bury the workers, many of them children, alive. It is said that the souls of those who die have to wander for three days, fleeing from the evil god of the mountain. Mother Earth is to be calmed down with archaic rituals, but the view into the exhausted faces of the people suggests that their faith will be more shaken with every death message.
