THE WIND

There is a place where several times a year, emotional outbursts change the life of the local community forever. The Halny, a foehn wind, comes in cycles every spring and autumn. No one knows if and when it will turn into a destructive storm. The Halny particularly affects the inhabitants of Zakopane and its surroundings, changing picturesque mountain trails into the set of untamed performances of human struggle against the destructive forces of nature.
