THE FLYING GOLD OF ARABUKO

The Flying Gold of Arabuko is the literal and living story of the butterfly effect. Told from the perspective of Charo Ngumbao, a former illegal logger and poacher, of how the butterfly catchers and breeders in Kenya work and how they have become unlikely saviours in contributing to safeguarding the last wild remnant of the East African coastal forest system. Like many others in the area, he has abandoned his past exploitative livelihood and discovered the benefits of forest conservation.
