THE CIRCLE OF MOOSE – ALASKAS ELCHE (THE CIRCLE OF MOOSE)

They are huge. They are smart. They are tenacious: Alaskan moose, the largest of their kind.

They are food sources that are both sustainable and local and, masters of the cold climate, they’ve been around for a long time, long before the people who deal with them in “The Circle of Moose”. As put so clearly by one: “Alaska. This is the world of moose. I just live in it.”

An entertaining documentary from the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg about how moose and humans are connected in Alaska.

Jury statement

An original approach to filmmaking that transports the viewer to that area to show how wildlife influences people and vice versa, without judging. This film puts a smile on your face with a very fresh sense of humor in contrast with some rough images.
