Costa Rica is one of the world’s hotspots when it comes to biodiversity. The rainforest with its tropical ecosystem is home to 85% of all living species and is considered to be the lungs of the earth. Many years ago, Costa Rica made a landmark decision FOR nature, whereby old plantations and pastures were to be reused or reforested.
