The abundance of life on the island of Borneo is the result of millions of years in the tropics and has made Borneo a realm of giant apes, dwarf elephants and air-breathing fish. The oldest tropical rainforests in the world and some of the largest cave systems have spurred the development of a bizarre animal world and made Borneo an incomparable place.
