Musical crossover with live performance

A special open air screening on 9 October in Waltherpark will show the movie “Nightingales in Berlin” by Ville Tanttu. The film tells the story of David Rothenberg’s efforts to overvome the borders between man and beast, and make live music with nightingales. Almost everything you play to a nightingale will encourage him to sing more. These encounters become a direct window into the unknown, an attempt to communicate  with a being with whom we cannot speak.
