The first prize of the Young Talents Competition goes to “The Hurl” by Samir Kawas. An effective fiction and a well-made film with a strong message that points out a major environmental problem, plastic waste and waste disposal. The greyish shade of the images works well for the story and the handmade craft is especially appealing and highly constructive. A short, fun film to watch and of perfect length.
